Great selection of older wines and fantastic discounts on bulk and case buys!
BEST LIQUOR STORE/WINE SHOP AROUND! Even though it looks small from the front, Spirits Unlimited in Trader Joe's Plaza has a HUGE selection! I love the microbeer selection and make your own 6-pack idea that they have, and the wine is amazing consisting of $3, $5, and $9 wines as well as an array of aged wines that are impossible to find! My favorite part is that they are family owened and run with their one other store across the street in Tinton Falls.
I went into this store at the last minute to make a rather large purchase for my husband's suprise birthday party and I was able to get everything I needed. I had an idea of what I wanted so that I wouldn't break the bank but I ended up working with a boy on the floor (Travis, I think he is the son) and he let me taste some wines he had gotten a great deal on and I spen LESS THAN I THOUGHT! Not only that, people are STILL talking about the wine two and a half months later!
The only thing that they did not have was a pecialty beer that my husband had in Mexico and I have not been able to find it anywhere in the states. However, Travis said they would see what they could do and they delivered it to my house for free the next day just in time for the party ALREADY COLD!
I have been to all of the other local liquor stores and I would recomend this one, and their family store in Tinton Falls by Work out World, by far!
Horribly over priced. Very rude. Go elsewhere.
