Our experience working with Blanche Franks from Sotheby's was the WORST. The saddest part is - she wasn't even my realtor!! She was the sellers realtor, and I kid you not when I say if it weren't for us contacting Sotheby's directly and letting them know we did not want to hear from her, we would have walked away from our dream house. It was that bad. Where do I even start with this woman? She bad mouthed Asbury Park saying how much she hates it (we lived there at the time), she was deceitful about her knowledge of flood procedures (she assured the seller she could handle it- we ended up doing all the leg work and research) she yelled at me and then stormed off when my contractor was 15 minutes late to review a repair that was required as part of the sale. She literally yelled. In front of my small child. On the street where I was buying a house. Yes, my new neighbors heard. Oh, she also called me "stupid". Because my contractor was 15 minutes late. This coming from a woman who could not remember who I was after the THIRD time meeting me and talking to me for almost an hour each time. I take so much pity on anyone who deals with her, and believe me, her reputation around town proceeds her. RUN fast from this psycho!! Ask around - anyone who has knowledge in this business will tell you the same!!

I'm putting this here because two years later I love my house but I still can't believe how terrible Blanche Franks was!! We sometimes laugh about what a walking disaster she is to deal with - dishonest to the core, on top of a terrible communicator and an all around unpleasant person to be with. She will add so much wasted time to whatever it is you are trying to do. RUN. Run from this woman!!
